Timothy Olyphant and Ian McShane lead a sprawling cast through a world of extraordinary moral complexity, political intrigue, and Shakespearean language (the show is famous for combining archaic rhetoric with torrential profanity). Canceled after three seasons due to disputes between Milch and HBO, Deadwood was given a feature-length finale film in 2019.
