Fleabag is a two-season BBC Three / Amazon comedy-drama written by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge as an unnamed, chaotic, grief-stricken young woman navigating life in London with a direct-to-camera confessional style that broke the fourth wall in entirely new ways. The second season — which introduces the character known only as The Priest, played by Andrew Scott — is regarded by many critics as the finest single season of television of the 2010s. Waller-Bridge won three Emmy Awards for the show in a single night. President Obama named it one of his favorite shows. Its brevity — 12 episodes total — is part of its perfection.
