6 questions, 90 minutes. 2 with calculator, 4 without.
Scoring: Each question is 9 points. Partial credit is generous if you show work.
Rules for full credit:
1. Show all setup. Write the integral or derivative before evaluating.
2. Use correct notation. Write ∫, dx, limits. Don't skip steps.
3. Justify conclusions. "By MVT, since f is continuous on [a,b] and differentiable on (a,b)..."
4. Answer the question asked. If it says "find the rate," give the rate with units.
5. Units matter. Include units in context problems.
Common point losses:
Missing +C on indefinite integrals
Not stating conditions for theorems (IVT, MVT)
Giving a decimal when exact answer is expected
Not answering in context ("the velocity is 5" vs "the velocity is 5 m/s")
