Temperature
- Range: 0.0 to 1.0
- Low (0.0–0.3): Focused, consistent, factual answers
- High (0.7–1.0): Creative, varied, exploratory answers
Top-P (nucleus sampling)
- Controls diversity of token selection
- Anthropic recommends adjusting one parameter at a time, not both
