Essay Template — Reliable 5.0 Structure

Paragraph 1 — Introduction (3-4 sentences):

Restate the issue in your own words. State your position clearly. Preview your reasons.


Paragraph 2 — Body 1 (5-7 sentences):

State your first reason. Provide a specific example (historical, scientific, personal observation). Explain how the example supports your position.


Paragraph 3 — Body 2 (5-7 sentences):

State your second reason with a different example. Connect back to your thesis.


Paragraph 4 — Counterargument (3-4 sentences):

Acknowledge the strongest opposing view. Explain why your position still holds despite this objection.


Paragraph 5 — Conclusion (2-3 sentences):

Restate your position in different words. End with a broader implication or forward-looking statement.


Target length: 400-550 words. Quality beats quantity.
