Cogent — clear, logical, convincing
Commensurate — corresponding in size or degree, proportional
Compendium — a concise but comprehensive collection
Conciliatory — intended to make peace, placating
Convoluted — extremely complex and difficult to follow
Corroborate — to confirm or support with evidence
Credulous — too willing to believe things, gullible
Cursory — hasty, superficial, not thorough
Deference — humble respect, yielding to another's judgment
Delineate — to describe or portray precisely
Common GRE trap: "Credulous" vs "credible." Credulous = gullible (a person). Credible = believable (an argument). The GRE loves testing words that look similar but mean different things.
