Content Areas:
Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data analysis
NO calculus. NO trigonometry beyond basics. The math itself is easier than SAT — the questions are trickier.
Calculator: On-screen calculator provided. It's basic (no graphing). Don't rely on it — mental math is faster for most questions.
Key insight: The GRE tests mathematical REASONING, not computation. The numbers are usually simple. The logic is what's hard.
