Hybrid Games — Combining Game Types

A hybrid combines sequencing and grouping. Example: assign workers to shifts AND order tasks within each shift.

Setup: Create a grid or multi-row diagram that captures both dimensions.

Row 1: Shift assignment (grouping)

Row 2: Task order within each shift (sequencing)

Strategy:

1. Identify which element is sequencing, which is grouping

2. Set up one dimension first (usually grouping)

3. Layer the sequencing rules on top

4. Look for cross-dimensional deductions

These are usually the hardest game. If you're aiming for 165+, you need to handle these. Below 160, consider skipping the hardest game entirely and focusing on accuracy elsewhere.
