Format: A decision prompt. You're given two options and criteria for choosing. You must argue for ONE option.
There is no right answer. Both options are designed to be equally valid. Schools want to see clear reasoning, not the "correct" choice.
Structure:
Paragraph 1: State your choice and main reason
Paragraph 2: Argue for your choice using the criteria
Paragraph 3: Acknowledge the other option's strengths but explain why yours is better
Paragraph 4: Brief conclusion
Tips: Write clearly. Use the criteria given. Don't introduce outside information. Proofread. Law schools probably only read this if you're a borderline candidate.
