Transportation

  • el carro / el coche — car, el autobús — bus
  • el metro — subway, el taxi — taxi, el tren — train
  • el avión — airplane, la bicicleta — bicycle, a pie — on foot

Asking for Directions

  • ¿Dónde está...? — Where is...?
  • ¿Cómo llego a...? — How do I get to...?
  • ¿Está lejos de aquí? — Is it far from here?

Giving Directions

  • Siga recto. — Go straight.
  • Doble a la derecha / izquierda. — Turn right / left.
  • Está a dos cuadras. — It's two blocks away.
  • Cruce la calle. — Cross the street.
