- el carro / el coche — car, el autobús — bus
- el metro — subway, el taxi — taxi, el tren — train
- el avión — airplane, la bicicleta — bicycle, a pie — on foot
Asking for Directions
- ¿Dónde está...? — Where is...?
- ¿Cómo llego a...? — How do I get to...?
- ¿Está lejos de aquí? — Is it far from here?
Giving Directions
- Siga recto. — Go straight.
- Doble a la derecha / izquierda. — Turn right / left.
- Está a dos cuadras. — It's two blocks away.
- Cruce la calle. — Cross the street.
