Seneca Falls Convention (1848):

First women's rights convention in the US

Produced the Declaration of Sentiments: "All men and women are created equal"

Demanded the right to vote, own property, and receive equal education


The fight took 72 years — from Seneca Falls to ratification of the 19th Amendment.
